    Description
    :

    Seeking an experienced data scientist to develop next generation advanced analytics solutions drawing on state of the art technologies including big data, mobility, cloud platforms, intelligent analytics and the Internet of Things (IoT), for solving business problems across various functions in the manufacturing industry in multi-disciplinary teams.

    Responsibilities:

    Work with Advanced Analytics/Domain Leads to:


    • Define hypotheses and identify the analysis trail for given business problems.
    • Help create new solution approaches for innovative analytics scenarios.
    • Develop proofs of concept and validate results.
    • Implement small and large scale projects in Advanced Analytics to help derive business insights for measurable success.
    • Articulate insights to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with onsite and offshore technology teams and support the development of analytical models with the effective use of data and analytic techniques.
    • Prototype and develop scalable and robust algorithms using massive data sets to power data-driven products and decisions
    Qualifications:


    • Must have hands-on experience in common data science toolkits such as Python, R, SAP HANA PAL, etc
    • Proficient in using query languages such as SQL
    • Hands-on experience with a variety of machine learning algorithms (e.g. Random Forest, SVM, Neural Network)
    • Experience working with time series data for time series and causal forecasting
    • Excellent problem solving skills and proven analytics leadership
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights in a clear and effective manner
