We seek a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Chimney Sweep Assistant.As a Chimney Sweep Assistant, you will work alongside experienced professionals to ensure the proper cleaning and maintenance of chimneys in residential and commercial properties.
This hands-on position requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. YOU MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE AND BE COMFORTABLE WITH HEIGHTS AND LADDERS.Responsibilities:
- Assist in the cleaning and inspection of chimneys.
- Set up and operate necessary equipment.
- Ensure the safe and efficient removal of debris and creosote from chimneys.
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Complete repairs to ensure the safety of the customer's home.
Requirements:
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Previous experience in chimney sweeping (preferred but not required).
