- Implement, under the supervision of the teacher, instructional programs and lesson plans to assist the teacher in improving students' academic success through a defined course of study
- Maintain classroom equipment, work area, students' files/records to identify required assistance and ensure a safe and positive learning environment
- Perform record keeping and clerical functions to support the teacher and/or to provide necessary records/materials
- Respond to emergency situations and immediately resolve safety concerns and/or direct concerns to appropriate personnel for resolution

- Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant field preferred
- Associate's Degree in Child Development or relevant field required
- Previous classroom experience preferred

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Saginaw Public Schools Academic Interventionists are responsible for assisting with the delivery of instructional services for eligible students in the remedial Title I program. Responsibilities include instruction of students, student discipline, planning, preparation of materials, testing and record keeping.
