The Opportunity

This position works out of our Casa Grande, AZ
location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands - including Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, and Glucerna - to help them get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest lives.


What You'll Work On:


Dayshift Role

  • Performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Implement methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining building and facilities to identify and address recurring problems with machinery, equipment, or parts.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair.

Education and Experience You'll Bring:


  • High School Diploma or GED and a two year mechanical/electrical technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical repair of highspeed filling and packaging equipment.
  • Experience/Background
  • Minimum 2year experience in Industrial Maintenance.
Preferred

  • Background in calibrations and certifications of critical precision and sensitive equipment.
  • Prior experience in a liquid manufacturing or packaging facility.
