The GSI Helmholtz Center for Heavy Ion Research in Darmstadt operates one of the leading particle accelerator facilities for science.

In the coming years, the new facility FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research in Europe) will be built in international cooperation, one of the largest research projects worldwide.

We are currently seeking two "PMO Experts - Project Planning and Risk Management (f/m/d)" for the department "Project Management Office (PMO)" at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks:

  • Establishment, monitoring, and updating of risk management and project planning (deadlines, resources, and finances) for the FAIR project
  • Participation in the development and configuration of tools necessary for project reporting and independent use of these tools to monitor and control the project
  • Taking responsibility for a specific planning area
  • Organization and moderation of project workshops, trainings, and meetings related to project planning and risk management
  • Assistance in solving planning challenges for all work packages and project management
  • Participation in the collection of reports on project structure, risk management, planning, status, and control
  • Creation of statistics, reports, and error analyses
  • Support for project planning quality management to continuously optimize projects
  • Creation and maintenance
