Vision executives are experts in international recruitment for the eyecare industry and we have partnered with a world market leader in eyewear, who are looking for a Marketing Director to operate in New York.

This individual will play a pivotal role in executing marketing communications and public relations initiatives, along with leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Services team, ensuring the successful and timely execution of initiatives.

They will also be responsible for the company's overall marketing outcomes by recommending annual business and channel development plans that drive profitable business aligning with defined marketing objectives.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan across all channels to enhance brand awareness, desirability, and market position, effectively meeting business objectives.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate the success of US marketing initiatives in alignment with global marketing strategies to elevate the brand's market standing.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the company's short and longterm objectives.
  • Execute global marketing and communication strategies for each segment, overseeing Gotomarket strategies' execution.
  • Collaborate with Sales Management to develop sales team collateral, adapting global marketing materials to suit USmarket requirements.
  • Ensure excellence in executing marketing activities and key deliverables while overseeing daytoday marketing operations and team development.
  • Cultivate relationships with media and stakeholders through tailored US strategies.
  • Provide guidance and concepts for organizing effective marketing events and brand activations to foster consumer engagement and advocacy.
  • Develop, review, and implement the Marketing Department's budget.
  • Monitor the outcomes of plans devised for trade partners concerning visual merchandising, customer, and endclient activation.
  • Execute and leverage events, partnerships, and other activations to drive consumer engagement and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with US Sales and Product teams on product strategy, including positioning, distribution, and merchandising.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing
  • At least 5 years of experience in a marketing leadership role with direct reports management. Previous involvement with consumer luxury brands preferred & experience with tangible consumer products is essential.
  • To be able to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects and prioritizing effectively, and experience with P&L responsibility.

What's on offer:

- $120K $150K basic salary

$120, $150,000.00 per year
