Westcliff University is seeking a full-time (40 hours)
Faculty Operations Specialist to provide

administrative support to the academic leadership of the University.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Academic Operations, the Faculty Operations Specialist is responsible for the development, organization, and coordination of the day-to-day functions associated with faculty scheduling, clerical, classroom teaching, communication, and other services in support of the university's academic affairs.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Provide administrative support to designated members of academic leadership
  • Be on campus when classes are in session to provide support to faculty
  • Develop, communicate, and coordinate faculty course assignments and the Professional Weekend experience
  • Promote proactive monitoring, tracking, and reporting of payroll processes in coordination with
the Director of Academic Operations

  • Support the process of onboarding of part-time faculty
  • Monitor and support faculty performance and compliance with university expectations
  • Assist with the clerical and record-keeping needs of the department
  • Maintain policy/accreditation documentation in collaboration with academic leadership
  • Collaborate with Institutional Research and other departments as needed to collect, analyze, and present data and reports for academic and programmatic use
  • Plan, organize, and implement training activities as directed
  • Support curriculum development initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Strong oral, written, and digital communication
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to exercise patience, professionalism, and compassion during challenging situations
  • Ability to interpret and follow university policies
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suite

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Education, Communication, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Prior experience working in higher education a plus
  • Prior experience in payroll management a plus
  • Prior experience in training a plus

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.

The range for hiring in US is $18/hr-$22/hr DOE.
