Position Overview:
Jade Fiducial is looking for a motivated Tax Accountant who is eager to gain experience working with small businesses and individuals on accounting and tax matters.
The Accountant will be responsible for general bookkeeping, monthly write-up, tax, payroll, and other accounting functions for Jade Fiducial clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation of bank and company accounts
- Reviewing client's financial statements
- Preparation of outsourced bookkeeping for clients
- Preparing sales tax returns for clients
- Preparing payrolls for clients
- Preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
Desired Skills/Experience/Attributes:
- 2+ years of tax or accounting experience (including internships). CPA experience preferred.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- French fluency is a plus
- Proven track record of solving practical problems
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle a highvolume workload
- Has a positive attitude and an unrivaled ability to work with peers, staff, and senior management collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or French DUT/BTS in accounting + a minimum of 2 years working experience
Pay:
From $48,000.00 per year
