The Quality Manager for the New Product Industrialization Team will be responsible for creating and leading the efforts to develop a new Supplier Quality and Industrialization approach to advance Colt's current quality process.

Job Details:

Lead the quality initiative for a new business unit at Colt with the goal of industrializing new products in a more structured and systematic approach.

Responsible for developing the plans, procedures, and methods that will ensure that our quality requirements are met.

This will include implementing new processes and tools for supplier qualification, FAI activities, incoming receiving inspection, lot control, supplier performance, work instructions, manufacturing travelers, assembly, and test procedures etc.

Qualification and Skills:

B.S. engineering or related field. Certified Quality Engineer/Auditor Preferred (ASQC)
Minimum of 5 years in a Quality systems management role
Extensive knowledge and implementation experience of ISO 9001 quality systems
Experience with all aspects of quality assurance practices for both government and commercial sectors
Thorough knowledge of GD&T / Blueprint reading skills
Unquestionable integrity
Demonstrated leadership track record.
Excellent communication, problemsolving, relationship building, and negotiating skills.
