    Description

    Martello Re Services Company LLC is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Data Engineer to support the design and implementation of a scalable and efficient cloud data infrastructure, including database services, elastic computing, storage and access.

    Develop, test and deploy code for event-driven data processing and validation.

    Coordinate cloud hosting of FIS Actuarial Modeling software (Prophet), integration with vendor infrastructure, and scaling up/down of compute power for model runs.

    Propose creative engineering solutions to extract maximum information from data, validate for accuracy and completeness, and support the building of machine learning models.

    Supervise best practices for software and predictive model development including version control, efficient model fitting, validation, and deployment, and software deployment.

    #The Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or foreign equivalent plus 5 years' experience as a Data Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect/Developer
    • Professional or its equivalent on other platforms.


    Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with and knowledge of essential AWS resources including S3 Storage, Lambda, Aurora, EC2 Compute, AWS Workstations, and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC); 5 years of experience in Python / R and/or related languages; 3 years of experience with regulatory and/or corporate compliance, including required documentation, monitoring, and reporting; 3 years of experience with designing cloud solutions to fit business needs.

    Telecommuting/remote work is available in the United States.
