Title:
Grounds/Utility Maintenance
Description:
Grounds maintenance worker performs all necessary tasks to create and maintain a safe, clean, continuously productive work environment.
Hours:
Monday
- Friday 6:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays, as needed, 6:00 am 12:00 p.m.
Reporting:
Vice President/Foreman
Requisites:
At least 18 years of age.
Well organized
Independent
Task oriented
Attention to detail
Strong Communication Skills
Able to follow directions
Team player
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Education/Experience:
Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Responsibilities:
- Clean in and around plant and operating equipment
- Shovel (i.e., snow, sand, stone), rake (i.e., leaves, clippings,), mow, trim (i.e., bushes, trees), remove debris.
- Ensure catwalks and scales are clean and free of any obstacles (ice, snow, leaves, branches)
- Operate a sweeper and water truck daily during operational season
- Housekeeping of storage trailers, garages, roosts
- Small plant maintenance when needed.

$ $25.00 per hour
