- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and prophylaxis
- Conduct thorough oral assessments and charting
- Take digital dental X-rays as needed
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized home care instructions
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures when required
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Keep accurate patient records
- Uphold infection control protocols and safety standards
- Valid NJ state dental hygiene license
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Proficiency in using dentrix software for charting and record-keeping
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with digital radiography is a plus
