- Analyze short- and long-term capital expenditure plans through coordination with hotel operators, the Asset Management and Design Construction teams, and other relevant parties.
- Evaluate current and future state of hotel and attraction operations at managed assets identifying trends and opportunities to improve results.
- Work with corporate leadership and project planning teams to drive consistency across the hotel portfolio on capital pricing, project timing, scope, etc.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; conduct variance and key metric analysis; and interact with the hotel operators to understand performance.
- Develop financial models and analyses for potential ROI projects, acquisitions, and other capital investment opportunities.
- Assist in creating ad-hoc project presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the Asset Management team to recommend growth initiatives based on market environments and industry trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Real Estate, or Finance preferred
- MBA or other advanced degree a plus
- 2+ years financial analysis, revenue management. Hotel and/or food beverage operations experience preferred.
- Previous experience in hotels or relevant hospitality field preferred; other relevant experience in real estate, finance, private equity, or management consulting also considered
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills; ability to synthesize significant amounts of data
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with senior management and hotel property leaders
- Ability to occasionally travel to hotels to facilitate reviews
- Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, database management and/or ERP experience a plus
