Description

Join us in this role where you'll join a fast-paced and dynamic global procurement function leading the interface with some of the world's most exciting and complex Offshore Wind projects.

Welcome to Offshore Wind Project Procurement

You'll be part of Procurement & Product Lines where you, together with your colleagues, will be fully accountable for all procurement and supply chain-related issues for a given asset project, from sourcing, through contract management, and until COD and handover to Operations.

Within this role you'll act as the first point of contact for the asset project Managing Director for all procurement-related issues and play active part of the MD management team.

As a team, we value a positive and open mindset, we focus on outcomes, and prioritise collaboration.

You'll play an important role in:

  • aligning project sourcing with our strategy, overseeing supplier selection, managing negotiations, and ensuring supplier performance meets project goals
- identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, managing and aligning contract managers for all project packages
- overseeing the total contract budget, ensuring project procurement performance aligns with cost and savings goals, and delivering a cost-out program
- managing supply chain flow, transport and customs, and implementing effective procurement governance within the project
- leading on contractual matters, overseeing key contract preparation and review, liaising with legal team for terms and conditions, and managing pre-award and post-award contract processes
- leading and developing the project's procurement team, and ensuring lessons learned are captured and shared with relevant stakeholders.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have proven experience in developing and leading Procurement strategies within a project organisation and demonstrated experience in sourcing strategies, supply chain development, and contract management
- have a master's degree in a relevant field, such as commerce, business administration, engineering, or a demonstrably equivalent level of experience and qualifications
- have extensive experience leading and managing procurement teams, with a proven track record of success
- have strong negotiation skills, with a successful track record in securing favourable terms, particularly for large-scale capital projects
- have experience working in diverse and international environments, demonstrating an understanding of cross-cultural collaboration and global procurement practices
- are open for relocation to the time zone of the given project, either in Europe, APAC, or US.

Maybe you've read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don't quite match all the points.

If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
