JOB SUMMARY:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with client to understand their business requirements and assess their current accounting processes.
• Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the Chart of Accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly mapped and categorized.
• Migrate data over from old system to new system.
• Help unlock additional utility out of ERP.
• Work closely with the client's ERP consultant to migrate the data, and then reconcile the data in the new environment to ensure the account balances tie to the original data sources.
• Gather business reporting requirements from business stakeholders and work with client's resources to help implement a financial reporting tool on top of ERP.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, and understanding of the balance sheet and financials
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in implementing and configuring ERP systems.
• Possess a strong foundation in accounting or financial planning and analysis (FP&A), with significant experience in controllership functions.
• Experienced in mapping financial transactions to the Chart of Accounts to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
• Demonstrated handson experience in implementing new financial systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and FP&A tools.
• Strong analytical abilities to forecast financial outcomes and prepare budget reports that align with company strategies.
• Understands how data flows through an accounting system and has experience reconciling and auditing data.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

Pay:
From $80.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
