Job summary
A Life Safety Systems Engineer will demonstrate strong reliability and enthusiasm.TSMC Arizona's New FAB Design Department is responsible for designing code-compliant life safety systems,
including fire alarm fire suppression emergency responder radio coverage firefighter air replenishment
and gas detection.
Your main responsibilities include:
On-site supervisionmanagement of construction
installation of life safety systems ensuring compliance with design drawings
construction specifications regulatory requirements
& industry best practices. Coordinating managing contractors to ensure construction progress quality
safety meet project requirements Reviewing construction documents shop drawings material submittals to ensure consistency with approved designs and specifications Conducting periodic ad-hoc on-site inspections to monitor construction quality identify resolve potential issues or non-conformities Responding to Requests for Information RFIs during the construction process assisting in resolving technical issues that arise on site Participating documenting meetings related to construciton progress quality safety ensuring key decisions action items are tracked Assisting testing commissioning final acceptance of life safety systems ensuring their functionality meets design intent operational requirements Proactively communicating internal teams external contractors to ensure all stakeholders have clear understanding of construciton requirments progress.
