Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer with experience in avionics, aerospace, embedded systems, or display systems engineering to join our growing engineering team in Phoenix, Arizona.
This role focuses on the design, development, integration, and deployment of real-time safety-critical avionics display systems that enhance pilot situational awareness and aircraft operational safety.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with backgrounds in aerospace systems engineering, embedded systems, avionics displays, real-time systems, or systems integration who are passionate about working on cutting-edge aerospace technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and support avionics display systems and embedded aerospace systems
Define system architecture, requirements, and specifications for real-time embedded and safety-critical systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and integration engineering teams
Support system integration, verification, validation, and testing activities
Participate in development of real-time embedded avionics and display systems
Assist in deployment and implementation of advanced avionics display solutions
Work with requirements management tools such as DOORS and Jira
Contribute to system design reviews, troubleshooting, and technical documentation
Support continuous improvement and innovation in aerospace systems engineering
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Computer, or related field)
6–8+ years of experience in:
Systems Engineering
Avionics Systems
Embedded Systems
Aerospace Systems
Display Systems Engineering
Experience with:
Real-time embedded systems
Systems integration and validation
Requirements definition and management
Safety-critical systems
Systems engineering lifecycle and development processes
Requirements tools such as DOORS
Jira and development lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall or similar)
