Our special needs school currently has 74 students in 12 class groups. We work closely with the HPT.

Our school provides education and support for children, adolescents, and young adults with severe multiple disabilities, aged three to 21 years.

Many of our students can only participate in class and actively engage if they have someone by their side to accompany them through the school day.

As a school assistant, you will support students in the classroom and in typical learning situations. You will assist children, adolescents, and young adults in communicating with classmates and teachers. Your support is also necessary in the area of personal care.

School assistants also ensure that students do not get into dangerous situations and are an important anchor and emotional support throughout the school day.

  • Support and strengthening of social contacts
  • Intensive support with communication
  • Recognizing the needs and messages of the students
  • Cooperation with teachers and caregivers
  • Participation in case discussions

What we expect:

  • High level of social competence and empathy
  • Experience working with children or adolescents: in a profession, training or studies, in volunteer work, or with your own children but also career changers are welcome
  • Strong communication skills
