Description
APPRENTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION MECHANICS FOR DEMOLITION AND CONCRETE CUTTING TECHNOLOGY (m/f/d) IN FLORHAM PARK

THE APPRENTICESHIP

  • Old houses are often renovated and repaired, but sometimes all that's left is demolition. But anyone can destroy things, right? As a construction mechanic for demolition and concrete cutting technology, you know all the tricks and challenges of demolition and dismantling work. You have the skills to quickly dismantle a building into its individual parts. Your task as a construction equipment operator is to operate and control various construction vehicles and machines, including excavators, milling machines, cranes, bulldozers, rollers, and concrete mixers. The selection of machines is large and you have complete control over each and every one of them. With the help of these machines, you transport building materials, dig trenches, demolish buildings, or assist in their construction.
  • First, the building is gutted. This means that everything removable and separable inside is removed. Using a demolition hammer, you bring down partition walls, cut steel railings with an angle grinder, remove floor coverings, and dismantle heating boilers. With milling machines, you can separate the screed from the underlying reinforced concrete ceiling. You also remove artificial mineral fibers from the building. Don't forget to wear protective gear. A breathing mask is mandatory to protect you from fine dust
