Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated security officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.


Duties:


  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
  • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property
  • Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
  • Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations
  • Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
  • Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
  • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
  • Provide assistance to people in need

Experience:


  • Proven experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills
  • Techsavvy with experience in surveillance systems
  • Trained in First Aid/CPR; certification is a plus
  • Previous experience in law enforcement is beneficial
  • Understanding of militaristic procedures is advantageous
  • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures
