Telemetry RN Position Details:
Type: 13 weeks contract or Per Diem
Shift Start Time:
Nights 3x12 hours or Days 1x12
Patient Assessment and Care:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients with cardiac and medical conditions.
Develop and implement individualized care plans to address their specific needs, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing comfort measures.
Cardiac Monitoring:
Continuously monitor patients' cardiac status using telemetry equipment
Arrhythmia Management:
Care for patients with arrhythmias, including the assessment of arrhythmia patterns, medication administration, and prompt intervention when necessary.
Congestive Heart Failure Management:
Provide comprehensive care for patients with congestive heart failure
Post-Cardiovascular Lab Care:
Attend to patients who have undergone cardiovascular procedures such as stent placement, pacemaker implantation, or AICD implantations. Ensure post-procedure monitoring, wound care, and pain management as needed.
Post-Open Heart Surgery Care:
Care for patients recovering from open-heart surgery. Monitor surgical wounds, vital signs, and respiratory status. Administer pain relief and educate patients on post-operative recovery.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.
