The Alexianer St.

Hedwig Clinics Berlin GmbH comprises two general hospitals that are academic teaching hospitals of the Charité:
the Alexianer St. Hedwig Hospital in Berlin Mitte and the Alexianer Hospital Hedwigshöhe in Berlin Treptow-Köpenick.

In total, more than 2,500 employees are employed and approximately patients are treated on an inpatient, outpatient, and partial inpatient basis each year.

The Alexianer St. Hedwig Clinics Berlin operate 17 somatic clinics as well as two psychiatric clinics.

Our new concept for intensive outpatient treatment is based on the previous experience of a model project according to § 64b SGK V for needs-adapted treatment.

A specialized, multi-professional team cares for patients with severe mental illnesses from the entire spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses, especially psychoses, unipolar and bipolar affective disorders, and offers flexible crisis intervention to avoid or shorten hospital stays.

We use the possibilities of equivalent inpatient treatment, an acute day clinic, institute outpatient treatment, and outpatient psychiatric care. Treatment can thus be optimally tailored to the changing needs of the affected individuals in a personal relationship continuity.
