We are looking for part-time teachers who can commit to anywhere from 5-15 hours per week for both in-person and virtual classes.

Our office is located in Hancock Park in Los Angeles. We offer competitive pay, ranging from $25-$30/hr, commensurate with experience.

As a Math teacher, you will be expected to:

Teach students various math topics ranging from elementary math to calculus in both group and one-on-one settings. While students' grade levels and courses may vary, teachers must have a wide range of math knowledge for each class.
Communicate and coordinate with the administrators in curriculum organization, progress reports, and other necessary tasks. We want bright and positive teachers to be part of our growing team.
Be punctual and prepared for all classes. We uphold responsibility and professionalism, and expect you'd as well.
Be creative to tailor the set curriculum to the students' needs & be patient and understanding to heed the students' and administrators' feedback. Conversely, we encourage you to voice any concerns and questions to the admin, whether that be improving the current curriculum or opening new courses.
Be prepared to lead a wide range of courses, ranging from prealgebra to competition math. We offer diverse courses for various grade levels that advise students' math skills. While we will work with you to find courses that best fit your strengths, we'd definitely like to have curious multitaskers who are open and flexible to variety.

Job Qualifications

While some teaching experience is preferred, we welcome all applicants who have the passion, drive, and empathy to learn and grow regardless of prior experience.
