Description
Martin Automotive Group is seeking a Custodian to join our team at our Nashville Subaru & Hyundai of Hickory Hollow locations.
Must be available to work during business hours (example: 8a-430p or 9a-5p)
Responsibilities:
Ensure the cleanliness of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Empty trash bins and replace liners. Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies. Dusting daily, dust high areas weekly. Sweep each technician's stall when empty. Assist technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs. Clean and remove dirt/grease as necessary (including handrails). Run errands as directed by Service Manager. Scrub floors as directed. Wash windows and glass doors in facility as directed. Clean vending machines, coffee counters, water fountains, customer lounge, employee break room, including all appliances in employee break room. Complete all training as directed by supervisor. Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Employee Handbook. Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. Follow all health and safety regulations. Assist with setting up and tearing down for events or meetings. Any other duties as assigned. Requirements Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
