    Summary About the Position:

    Performs a wide variety of duties which are in support of the strength management and control functions for the Regional Health Command-Atlantic (RHC-A), servicing Military Table of Organization and Equipment Assigned Personnel (MTOE), Reserve Component Individual Mobilization Augmentees (IMA), and a full complement of permanently assigned personnel.

    This position is located in Fort Moore, Georgia. Responsibilities Maintain the mobilization and deploy ability reporting status of all medical Military personnel. Maintain Military personnel data in local readiness management database such as Medical Occupational Data Systems (MODS) for Medical Command. Utilize comprehensive knowledge to update Human Resources (HR) Information systems. Research HR automated system guidelines to identify discrepancies.

    Specialized Experience:

    One year of specialized experience which includes performing administrative support functions associated with processing Military personnel actions which includes data processing and/or control over readiness information on all Military personnel.

    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).


    OR Education:

    One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Human Recourse Management.


    OR Combination of Education and Experience:

    A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

    To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.


    Proficiency Required:
    This position requires a qualified typist.

    A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.

    You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

    Grade Requirement:
    Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06)


    Education FOREIGN EDUCATION:

    If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S.

    education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
