About the roleClaims Analyst III - Financial Lines -Cyber Media & Technology
What you need to know:
As a Claims Analyst III, you will be responsible for handling claims from inception through conclusion of Professional Liability matters, including Cyber, Network Security, Business Interruption, Media and Technology exposures and be responsible for investigating & evaluating coverage, analyzing liability and financial exposure, litigation management, negotiating settlements where appropriate, attend mediations/settlement conferences, etc.
- Timely coordinate with defense counsel/insureds/monitoring counsel to facilitate coverage, liability, and damage analysis.
- Explore the use of technology, structured settlements, and other means to find strategic and costeffective claims resolutions.
- Effectively analyze and budget the litigation of each claim on pending through timely discussions with counsel, vendors, and insureds.
- Determine judgmental value on all files in pending within a reasonable time frame and make presentations to management as necessary.
- Manage reserve adjustments and payments to avoid deficit payments.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Juris Doctor and/or multi-state adjuster licenses highly preferred.
A proven track record of claims or litigation experience.
Financial and/or cyber experience preferred.
Proven ability to analyze policies of insurance and legal documents.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$83,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
