Description
Night shift warehouse lead is responsible for daily operations of employees building operations. Responsible for the safe, accurate and timely selection and loading of all outbound product. Safety will be a main priority for you and your fellow team members.

Responsibilities:


  • Flex production plans on a shiftbyshift basis, managing through issues to prevent service issues and operational inefficiencies.
  • Ensure operational practices are followed to control inventories.
  • Responsible for moving product or materials in a warehouse environment using power industrial equipment. Load or unload designated trailers and/or route trucks. Build orders as necessary.
  • Operate forklift and electric walkie rider to move pallets of product.
  • Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to move, restock and repack product ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation are maintained.
  • Make sure Warehouse personnel has proper training and guide them using the warehouse inventory system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and assist in other areas as needed.
  • Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
  • Restock Shelving units with product so it is available for night shift as they deplete stock.

  • High School Diploma.
  • One to 3 years of general work experience required.
  • One+ year prior warehouse/stocking/forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced warehouse environment is necessary
  • Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency effectively with mínimal errors and train employees to use it.
  • Strong team player and the ability to get along with coworkers.
  • Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Physical Demands:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

You will be required to lift to 50 pounds.
