    Criminal Justice Records Manager
    The Records Manager will support theUSAir Force (USAF) Security Forces (SF) Criminal Justice Indexing Cell.

    The nature of this work is to provide support to request, receive, inventory, match demographic information, and prepare data for entry into Federal and DoD databases.

    Additionally, the program provides records management, data entry, and other related administrative functions to support military or civilian personnel assigned to future USAF centralized indexing efforts, teams, cells, or task forces.

    In this role you will....

    Analyzecriminal justice records, making judgements on information contained in records for proper classification of offenses entered into the appropriate Federal and DoD criminal justice databases.

    Administratively managedata into prescribed formats required by external databases, scanning and processing, documenting and tracking criminal subject/case information in preparation for entry into the appropriate Federal and DoD criminal justice database system.

    Utilizemultiple governmental criminal justice databases and other sources to manage, analyze, request and receive information as required to ensure correct information is obtained as requested.

    Processsubject fingerprint cards from military liaison, ascertaining if further data is required to complete fingerprint card, and utilizing multiple governmental criminal justice databases and other sources to manage, analyze, request and receive information missing data.

    Analyzeand inventorying all related materials and case related documents in a prescribed order or file system.

    Provideinformation, records management and other related data reporting and administrative functions to support military or civilian personnel assigned to USAF or SF centralized indexing efforts, teams, cells, or task forces.


    Experience Requirements:
    Minimum of 7 years of relevant and specialized experience in law enforcement or criminal justice
    Prior Military or Civilian Law Enforcement experience
    Experience researching, analyzing and updating criminal history databases, statistics, and reports.
    Experience identifying and correcting errors in criminal indexing submissions, biometric collections, and dispositions.
    Experience reviewing, assessing and archiving administrative and criminal history incidents and investigations.
    Experience with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and in law enforcement.

    Education Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

    Security Clearance Requirements:
    Active DOD Secret security clearance

    Other Requirements:
    Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
    May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
    Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
    Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
    Effective verbal and written communication skills

    Prior Military Personnel experience
    Knowledge of DoD Personnel Security, Information Security requirements
    Prior experience with DoD/USAF Military personnel databases

    This position is contingent on funding.
