- Administer and manage housing programs, including rental assistance, homelessness prevention, and affordable housing initiatives.
- Conduct eligibility determinations, interviews, and assessments for program applicants.
- Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, property managers, and community organizations to secure housing options for clients.
- Provide counseling and support to clients on housing options, tenant rights, and responsibilities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on program activities, client progress, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure program alignment and compliance.
- Develop outreach materials and conduct presentations to promote housing programs to the community.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for effective program operation.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in housing program administration or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of local and federal housing laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in database management and reporting tools.
