Senior Accountant - Fixed AssetsIrving, TX
Growing is adding to their corporate accounting team, searching for someone with a sharp accounting mindset and strong aptitude for fixed assets.
Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of full-cycle accounting, recent fixed asset experience along with strong analytical skills and a process improvement mindset.

Compensation
:
$85-100k DOE
Responsibilities:
Ensure success of month-end close, preparing journal entries
High volume, complex reconciliations
Maintain fixed asset ledgers, record new assets purchases, depreciation schedules, capX
Ensure items are capitalized/expensed in accordance with company policy & GAAP
Review accounts for misclassified fixed assets, corrects allocations, completing adjustments when needed
Prepare financial statements and monthly reporting requirements
Serve as company point person for fixed assets and property tax
Work with various teams to ensure compliance (assist with audit, finance and tax)
Identify and implement opportunities for optimization within fixed assets, develop SOPs
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA is a plus
CPA or CPA eligible preferred
Major ERP system required, advanced Excel
Thorough understanding of Fixed Assets, GAAP
Display ability to manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines
Team player who works well in a changing environment
