This Applications Engineer (AE) role provides technical expertise in Advance Functional Verification of semiconductor IC chip designs. You will work with cutting-edge technology alongside customers, R&D, and marketing. Ideal for candidates with strong design/verification backgrounds and scripting skills.
Responsibilities:
• Lead sales and support of Advance Functional Verification technologies
• Integrate products and services, ensure expected behavior
• Provide expertise on verification planning, testbench development, failure analysis, and more
• Create strategies to achieve customer's design objectives
• Keep peers informed on new technologies
• Advise customers and shape product direction
• Deliver training classes, drive adoption of verification solutions
• Participate in lead roles as needed
Skills & Requirements:
• BS/MS in electrical, computer engineering or related field with 10+ years experience
• Strong knowledge of HDLs, HVLs, scripting languages
• Experience in test bench creation, simulation, troubleshooting
• Deep understanding of semiconductor industry and various architectures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Additional related skills are a plus
