Description
This is a full-time position in house.Following a 3-month probationary period with on the job training, full-time employees are offered a myriad of benefits including medical and dental insurance coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.
Job duties:
- Answering inbound phone calls from education and life science research customers, regarding product recommendations, technical support, and ordering
- Scheduling and organizing documentation for orders
- Cross training in the shipping/logistics department to assist in shipping and receiving
Job requirements:
- Exceptional English writing and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal interaction skills
- General knowledge of chemical and biology terms
- Background in science preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Education and background:
- US citizen or permanent resident
- Associate Degree with courses in chemistry, biology and/or biotech preferred not not required
- Experience in fast paced environments where being flexible and ability to prioritize is a must
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
