    Description

    Role: Quality Engineer

    Location: Franklin, MA - Onsite

    Duration: 12 Months on W2

    ****Do apply if you are USC/GC Only - prior experience with DoD***

    Responsibilities:

    • Inspect electromechanical hardware, textiles, and composites.
    • Ensure product conformance to specifications, drawings, and tests.
    • Participate in MRB activities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
    • Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams.
    • Compile and distribute inspection and supplier data packages.
    • Perform First Article Inspections (AS9102).
    • Resolve non-conformances with suppliers and manage corrective actions.
    • Interface with customer QA representatives.
    • Support QMS, AS9100, and CMMI processes and audits.
    • Develop and review procedures and work instructions.
    • Manage calibrated equipment program.
    • Conduct source inspections at supplier facilities (<10% travel).
    • Review and approve Engineering Changes.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred).
    • Proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong technical communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
    • Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
    • Preferred:
    • Welding experience, AMS specifications knowledge.
    • Internal auditor certification.
    • Certified IPC-A-610/620 Inspector.
    • Experience in ISO9000 or AS9100 environments.
    • Experience with DoD electromechanical products.
    • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ANSI/ASME Y14.5.
