At Scotch Meadows, you will learn how things are done right.

To be successful, you should have an above-average secondary school diploma or equivalent, good knowledge in math, chemistry, physics, and biology, as well as manual dexterity, technical interest, spatial imagination, and a willingness to learn.


Here's what you'll be doing:

  • You will learn how to operate and monitor machines and equipment.
  • We will show you how to pump, treat, and distribute water.
  • You will lay pipes and take on construction work for wells and pipelines.
  • We will familiarize you with analyzing drinking water samples in the laboratory.
  • You will gain insight into ecological cycles, environmental protection, and hygiene measures.
  • You will document and evaluate work and operational processes, taking into account quality management.
  • You will learn how to apply relevant legal regulations, technical rules, and occupational health and safety regulations.
  • You will learn the necessary information and communication techniques.
The training period is 3.5 years (shortening is possible with good performance).
