Job Title:
Scientist - I (Assistant)

Location:
Rahway, NJ

Duration: 6+ months

Description:

Execution of testing protocols, including timely sample preparation, analytical testing and data reporting, with little to no supervision.
Basic ability to troubleshoot biophysical instruments
Documentation and reporting of results in an electronic notebook system
Review of ELN notebooks
Interaction with other technical groups with effective communication of results and coordination with other team members to handle the analytical workload
Phaseappropriate biophysical characterization of formulations

Quals Education Minimum Requirement: BS/MS in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline

Required Experience and Skills

Strong laboratory analytical skills are required. Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills are required.
Recent Research or Industrial experience with biophysical and biochemical techniques for biotherapeutics characterization is required.
Minimum of 12 years of laboratory experience

Desired Experience and Skills

Expertise in operating various Biophysical instruments including but not limited to AUC, CD, HIAC, DLS, DSC, FTIR, SEC-MALS, MFI, Raman; good understanding of protein science, protein/peptide stability, and proteinprotein interactions.
