    What is the roleAs a Staff Satellite Electrical Engineer, you will participate in all aspects of the development and test of theavionics hardware for the E-Space satellites.

    For this role, you'll leverage your 10+ years of experience inelectrical hardware design including schematic capture, PCB layout and testing.

    This position will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering and will work closely with the Electrical,Software and Systems Engineering teams.

    This role is based in our Saratoga, CA office.

    What you will doDevelop PCBA requirements in collaboration with other engineering disciplinesSchematic capture and PCB layout using Altium DesignerCircuit analysis including power, tolerance and reliability relatedPCBA design verification testing and system integration testingEngineering harness design and fabricationProduction manufacturing support, as neededWhat you bring to this roleBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent10+ years of experience in electrical hardware design including schematic capture, PCB layout, and testingDesign proficiency with processors, FPGAs, switch mode power supplies, high speed data interfaces, precision analog instrumentationSkilled at schematic capture and layout of complex PCBsSkilled at performing circuit analyses in SPICE and ExcelProficiency with basic electronic lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, soldering iron, etc.

    Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environmentBonus points for the followingMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

    Experience designing for space environments including radiation impacts and mitigationFamiliarity with Altium DesignerRF and transmission line design and simulation skillsExperience designing rigid-flex PCBs and general electro-mechanical design familiarityFPGA design skillsEmbedded software development skills for ARM core processors$50,000 - $180,000 a yearThe estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question, which is based on market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.

    Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, depth of relevant experience, and other relevant factors.
