POSITION DUTIES
In cooperation with executive staff, agency administrators, and senior policy analysts the Policy Support Specialist will:

  • Act as the Department's forms manager and administer the Department's Forms Management Plan.
  • Serve as the point of contact, coordination and support the Departmental Research Committee (DRC).
  • Serve as the Office of Data, Policy, and Grant's Record Retention Specialist and designated Public Information Officer.
  • Maintain Department's comprehensive and archival index of primary and ancillary policies.
  • Assist with the annual policy review process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.


Experience:
Four years of administrative staff or professional work.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualifications are preferred, not required:

  • Possess a

Microsoft Office Specialist:
Excel Expert Certification.

  • Possess a
current or recent Smartsheet Core Product Certification.

  • Possess a
Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) Certification.


LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle.

Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.

$57, $95,449.00 per year
