Position Summary:

The Center for Family Services is looking for a Full time House Manager for their YES RTC program.

The House Manager provides management of daily operations of home and supervision of Support Counselors, direct counseling services and may perform specialized activities and functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provides direct supervision and counseling services,
  • May perform specialize activities and functions specific to program
  • Completes documentation and other reporting requirements
  • Meets regularly with supervisor, and participates in other continuing professional development opportunities
  • Contributes on agency committees and special tasks, promotes a sense of agency with coworkers a staff, an communicates in ways that support agency mission an values
  • Engages in caring supervision and structure for Support Staff and youth in residence which is consistent with stated goals and objectives, Day, Evening and Weekends
  • Ensures that program structure is consistent with stated goals and objectives
  • Reports to and serves on the treatment team with Therapists and other designated staff.
  • Instructs guides and counsels staff and youth informally throughout their interactions in day to day activities
  • Provides life skills education and goal setting groups
  • Coleads recreation and physical education activities scheduled during shift
  • Coordinate daily school communication
  • Provides onetoone assistance and engages youth
  • Provides transportation to and from appointments
  • Substitutes in the event of Support Counselor absence
  • Provide direct level of supervision to youth in the program and on activity outage
  • Attend the monthly staff meetings as required
  • Ensures that youth complete their goals as set forth in their treatment plans
  • Ensures that physical site of the program is clean and orderly as set forth in the policy and procedures
  • Assist youth in their daily life skills education and chores in the program
  • Complete all required paperwork (i.e.) shift notes, incident reports by the end of the shift
  • Follow the policies and procedures as set for in the Center For Family Services Handbook
  • Other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor level practitioner with 35 years of supervisory experience and no less than 4 years human services experience or
  • 2. Masters level PR actioner with 1 year supervisory experience and no less than 3 years human service experience
  • Must complete mandatory training for Residential Programs
  • Nurtured Heart Approach and Trauma Informed Care Training; Safety Technique training from Safe and Positive Approaches
