Introduction:

As a specialist in energy infrastructure, SPIE SAG GmbH is seeking you for the CityNetworks & Grids division in the greater Aachen, Cologne, and Bonn area as of the earliest possible date.

Responsibilities:

  • Laying cables and pipes, as well as simple foundations for poles and cabinets
  • Minor earthworks for supply lines, distribution cabinets, joints, poles, etc.
  • Operating construction machinery and vehicles, as well as maintenance work on facilities
  • Restoring sidewalks, traffic areas, and edge reinforcements
  • Participating in troubleshooting and fault repair for our customers in underground cable construction

Your profile:

  • Completed training as a skilled worker / construction equipment operator / landscaping builder or career changer with manual skills and initial professional experience in pipeline construction / cable construction / civil engineering with an interest in further professional qualification
  • Class B driver's license required, with Class C1E and CE desirable
  • German language skills at least level B2 required
  • Technical understanding and enjoyment of working with construction machinery and technical equipment
  • Independent, committed, and motivated work style, as well as reliability, communication, and teamwork skills
