What you'll do:


  • Communicate realtime trade information from CBOE's SPX pit to Optiver's inhouse trading floor
  • Report on Optiver Floor Trader's decisions and execution
  • Analyze and assign importance to floor information queue to enhance Optiver's trading decisions
  • Act as facilitator and intermediary between inhouse Trading team and exchangebased Floor Traders
  • Coordinate information flow amongst Optiver's Floor Traders
  • Maintain and update S&P Trading team's visualization and graphics enhancements
  • Build skills and trading acumen as a Floor Trader trainee
  • Track trading strategies and report on profit and loss (PnL) results

Who you are:


  • Hold a bachelor's degree (required)
  • Possess a high aptitude with mathematics
  • Have a working knowledge of financial instruments, trading exchanges and markets
  • Excellent communicator and team player
  • Able to make lightningquick decisions
  • Programming experience in Python or VBA is preferred
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment authorization for this job opening
