Hiring within Wisconsin only, most ideal within our service regions. Travel onsite or in-person will be required as needed.

Responsibilities & Competencies:


The Total Rewards & Leave Analyst position coordinates the day-to-day Benefits, Wellness, and Leave of Absence activities for Lakeland Care, Inc.

(LCI). This position is also responsible to plan annual enrollment activities, wellness initiatives while ensuring legal compliance and cost effectiveness.

In addition, the Total Rewards & Leave Analyst maintains financial oversight regarding accuracy of carrier/client billing and employee contributions and ensures automated benefit system is properly maintained.

Additionally, the Total Rewards & Leave Analyst supports all Payroll functions.


Essential Competencies:


  • Prepare and distribute information to inform current and prospective employees about LCI benefits and policies, including developing and conducting new hire orientation, annual benefit enrollment, and provide ongoing employee communication.
  • Maintain and monitor vendor costs. Prepare and process monthly vendor billing in an efficient and timely manner; research and resolve outstanding and/or disputed issues. Provide input for vendor RFP process and selection.
  • Work closely with benefit and vendors to ensure timely and accurate billing, ACA reporting compliance, 5500 filings, IRS and DOL filings and audit responses, and all other benefit related compliance obligations.
  • Administer Leaves of Absence in accordance with policies and FMLA/ADA regulations.
  • Engage with employees in the interactive process for reasonable accommodations.
  • Assist with evaluating marketcompetitive compensation and benefit programs that attract, retain, and engage talent and further LCI's employer brand.
  • Partner with healthcare or wellness providers to create programs, incentives, information, etc. to help control the cost of benefits by creating opportunities for employees to become healthier.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement changes in administration of employee benefits and strategy planning for benefit plans.
  • Update and maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with relevant compensation and benefit content.
  • Identify obstacles and address problems cooperatively as they occur.
  • Ensure compliance of all plans with LCI Policies and Procedures, and federal and state regulations including but not limited to ERISA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
  • Maintain Summary Plan Descriptions, Plan Documents, Benefit Summaries and Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs).

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (includes knowledge, skills, and abilities).
  • Minimum five (5) years of human resources experience in payroll and benefits program administration with knowledge in benefit compliance.
  • Paylocity experience preferred.
  • Human Resources certification preferred

CEBS, CPP, PHR or SHRM-CP.

  • Mathematical aptitude, analysis skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational ability with excellent judgement and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
  • Knowledgeable regarding health and welfare benefits and standard healthcare regulations such as ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.
  • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record and proof of adequate insurance required.
