Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our pain management team.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks.

This is a full-time position based in our facility.


Responsibilities:

• Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medications (including inhalation), and collecting specimens for laboratory testing
• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records, including coding and documentation of patient visits
• Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient concerns
• Perform Xrays under the supervision of a licensed radiologist
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to accurately communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Assist with basic life support measures when necessary

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Proficiency in performing Xrays is highly desirable
• Familiarity with medical coding practices and electronic health records systems is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to accurately measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respiration rate
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages

Job Types:

Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
