    Description


    American Traveler is seeking a CT Scan Technologist with at least 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital in Charleston, SC.

    Details

    Work in the CT department of an 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 trauma, academic teaching hospital
    Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with holiday rotation
    Daily caseload varies by shift and location
    Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities
    On-call is not required
    Charting is performed in Epic
    Requirements

    Minimum 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
    Current BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) certifications required
    Siemens scanner experience required
    Experience with Epic EMR preferred
    SC state license must be in hand at time of start — license required if applicable
    A radiation badge must be provided by the candidate or their agency, as the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
    SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
    Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
    First-time travelers will be considered if they have the required experience
    Additional Information

    Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized, and local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
    Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
    All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is subject to manager and unit needs
    Orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
    Scrub colors required are a teal top and black bottom
    Weeknight and weekend parking is available for a one-time $20 parking pass fee

    American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
