    Description


    American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification and at least 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience.

    Details

    CT Scan department within an 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
    4x10-hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM, at the main campus
    Holiday rotation required
    On-call rotation shared with staff
    Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities
    Daily caseload varies by shift and location
    Charting performed in Epic
    Requirements

    Current BLS (AHA only), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SC Radiologist Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) R(CT) certification required
    Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
    Siemens equipment experience required
    SC license required if applicable — must be active and in hand; pending licenses will not be accepted
    Epic EMR experience
    SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
    2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
    Candidate-provided radiation badge required — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
    Additional Information

    First-time travelers will be considered provided they have relevant prior experience
    Former permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
    All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is based on manager and unit needs
    Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
    Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
    Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the assignment begins
    All employees and contractors are assigned to emergency response teams and may be activated during emergencies such as hurricanes

    Parking is available on nights and weekends with a one-time $20 parking pass fee

    American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
