Server/Bartender

[Part Time]

Chef Dave, a bistro-style restaurant in Chestnut Hill, is currently searching for a Server/Bartender to join our expanding team to work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide guests with a fresh dining experience that celebrates living well by delivering exceptional guest services in the bar area, including:

• Provide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information
• Prepare restaurant tables
• Attend to customers upon entrance Interact with guests while obtaining their orders and enter POS for preparation.
• Take and serve orders; ability to lift, balance and move large food trays, weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills and guestoriented approach

- patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
• Excellent communication skills (via phone and inperson)
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask are necessary

Requirements:

• 1+ years' experience as a server in a highvolume, upscale food and beverage and/or club environment
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations

$ $450.00 per day
