    Customer Success Specialist

    Emphasis in Group Events & Registrations

    The Customer Success Specialist for the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America is responsible for the customer success lifecycle for leads assigned. They will coordinate group events, individual reservations, and work with multiple departments to ensure successful events.

    *Full time hourly position for $18-$20 an hour benefits included- Medical, prescription coverage, dental, vision, life-insurance, long-term disability, accidental death, a 403(b)-retirement plan match.

    What you will be doing:

    • Communicate with guests and volunteers, via telephone, email or in person.
    • Answer phones, check voicemail, route calls and messages to the appropriate staff member.
    • Maintain check-in and check-out of guest keys and guest packets.
    • Schedule and conduct site tours.
    • Update customer accounts with event documentation and contact information.
    • Follow up on leads as assigned for multiple properties using Infor Sales and Catering Solutions software.
    • Make pre-event calls to finalize event details and arrival information.
    • Enter events and manage registrations in Black Pug software.
    • Troubleshoot registration issues and make recommendations to guests.
    • Answer all email correspondence and/or forward to specific department.
    • Work as a liaison between departments.
    • Run reports to track event data.
    • Create invoices, send contracts, and follow up on accounts receivables.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Who you are:

    • Experienced administrative professional who is dependable and highly organized with maturity, discretion, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
    • Two years' experience in an office setting with a high call volume.
    • Technology literate with strong computer skills including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
    • Experience with databases or online registration systems.
    • Good organizational skills and record keeping (attention to detail is critical).
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Self-starter who can work independently.
    • Skilled in establishing priorities and managing workload.
    • Must pass Boy Scouts of America's background checks.
