Truck Loader/Lumper - Seasonal
Reports to Outbound Supervisor
The Warehouse Truck Loader/Lumper is responsible for properly placing packages with care in truck. Be very detail orientated and have a high degree of accuracy
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for distribution of weight associated with loading trailer
- Ability to operate pallet jacks
- Able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to lift product from conveyor line to floor load on the truck
- Overtime will be considered mandatory at times.
- Professionally communicate with Managers, peers, fulltime and seasonal staff members.
- Job functions, assignments are based on need and availability. Flexibility is required.
- Support warehouse managers with special projects, and additional duties when requested.
Work Environment:
- Workday is a standard 8 hours, or until orders are completed, this time is spent in a warehouse setting.
- The position involves a significant amount of physical labor, requiring long hours of lifting, standing, and movement around the warehouse.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Physically able to lift 60lbs and possibly more.
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time.
- Regularly required to use hand and arms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, good communicator, and team player
Desired Skills:
- Prior Warehouse experience.
