    Description

    Belay Technologies is a company based in Columbia, Maryland, recognized as one of the Best Places to Work by the Baltimore Business Journal in 2019, runner up in 2020, and a finalist in 2021. Currently, Belay Technologies is looking for a proactive Mid or Senior Network Engineer (NE) to join their intelligence team.


    The selected individual will play a key role in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls, as well as managing security in a diverse networking environment that includes equipment from various manufacturers. This dynamic role involves working with Windows/Linux servers, databases, VMware, and security hardware & software. The network infrastructure spans local and geographically dispersed LAN enclaves interconnected by WAN links, requiring the candidate to collaborate within a team that focuses on building, maintaining, and enhancing a complex array of Information Technology systems spread across different locations.


    • Qualifications:
      • TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph
      • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience

    The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

    • Experience with KG-175 and/or KG255 configuration and deployment
    • Familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds
    • Proficiency in working with VMWare 7 or higher, along with network configuration
    • Knowledge of technologies such as Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASA, ISR, McAfee Sidewinder, PaloAlto, Juniper, IPSEC, NAT, SCP, and TFTP
    • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to routers, switches, and firewalls
    • Experience with Cisco Systems hardware/software and other vendor networking products
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Capacity to adapt and adhere to best practices
    • Self-motivated team player capable of independent work and collaboration
    • Willingness to provide after-hours support when necessary
