    Aurora's Cloud Security team's mission is to design and build security capabilities for Aurora Services. Aurora makes extensive use of public cloud infrastructure (AWS), Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code technologies.

    This role is focused on designing and implementing security infrastructure and controls into AWS to create a mature cloud infrastructure.

    Secure AWS cloud environment in the areas of but not limited to:

    Create automation to solve security problems at the root
    5+ years experience in working in security and public cloud infrastructure
    ~Experience with AWS security controls or equivalent cloud security experience
    Fundamental understanding of threat modeling, network security, OS security, AWS security best practices
    Some familiarity with at least 1 scripting / programming language
    Experience with infrastructure-as-code and writing and reviewing Terraform
    Understanding of Devops/Devsecops concepts and CI/CD tooling/pipelines

    Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions.
