POSITION DESCRIPTION

Qualifications:

a master's degree in the Biological Sciences or a related field; along with a demonstrated understanding of modern biology, including recent advances in evolution and phylogeny; the willingness to keep abreast of scientific change; demonstrated interest and expertise in instruction; demonstrated knowledge of modern methods of pedagogy and assessment; excellent interpersonal skills; excellent time management skills.

A masters degree in the Biological Sciences or a related field


Additional qualifications (required at time of start)


Preferred qualifications (other preferred, but not required, qualifications for the position)

An interest in plant and/or animal phylogenetics is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of modern methods of pedagogy and assessment is preferred.

A PhD in the Biological Sciences or a related field is preferred.
